Michelle Friedman is a Certified Music Practitioner (CMP) located in Atlanta, GA. She studied Live Therapeutic Music and graduated from The Music for Healing & Transition Program in 2017. She is Certified to play Live Therapeutic Music using guitar & voice at the bedside in any healthcare setting for critically, chronically, or temporarily ill patients as well as the actively dying. Michelle completed her 45-hour internship at Emory University Hospital and Emory University Hospital Midtown. She studied voice professionally at Georgia College & State University and University of Georgia, and studied classical guitar with Mary Akerman. Michelle has been teaching private music lessons for guitar, bass, ukulele, piano, voice and drums since 2009. In her spare time she enjoys playing and singing with several local Atlanta bands, most often performing with The Good Graces and Chickens & Pigs.
